The UNIX Files is an abandonware archive dedicated to preserving software for propriatary UNIX operating systems such as IRIX, Solaris, AIX and HP-UX.
Software featured on The UNIX Files has been discontinued by their publishers and is no longer commercially available. The UNIX Files aims to preserve these treasures for future generations, providing documentation and downloads of the original files.
With respect to copyrighted software; non-qualifying software is removed if detected and upon request. If software is removed due to copyright, a link to the publisher's purchase page is provided in it's place.
