You would think that 24/7 connections with cable modems and DSL would make your internet connection more reliable... but they obviously don't. For the past ~2 weeks my internet connection has been coming and going randomly throughout the day. During the "good" portion of the day I only had 25% packet loss... Anyways last Monday my internet connection went out completely, and I was finally able to convince my cable company that they should send out a tech. The tech came out, and sure enough my upstream connection was about 5% of what it should be. They finally got the hardware fixed yesterday (and I got a new cable modem out of the visit also, yay!). So expect to see me around this Friday/Saturday.
