Surprised to see this message? I bet most of you are, right? Usually I don't spend much time on doing April Fools - jokes. This time was different. Diskboy came up with the Idea of the offline-thingy in the news (see post below). We found that we had to do SOMETHING to make it look real. J-who got contacted after which I got things rollin'. At first 3 hours - then 24 to let ppl believe. Best of games' index.php and in.php both redirected to the "Account Terminated"-page as well as The Abandonware Forums, Abandonware Ring, Demu and Diskworld.

From what I heard it was discussed on various EFnet channels. J-who even got an offer to host the forums. ICQ crashed when trying to display all incoming messages. We all sure had our phun .

Yea, all in all I think this was a quite succesfull April Fools day. Of course some ppl didn't believe, but as time went by more and more ppl thought it was serious. I'd like to take the oppertunity to thank Tera-Byte hosting services for playing the bad-guy. Sorry if we cost you any customers . We (J-who, Diskboy, Swizzle and me) hope you will forgive us and enjoy our services even more from now on, because a life without the sites you missed yesterday, is no life .
