Christmas day has passed! Plenty of gifts around for everyone!
Here is the latest:
Abandonia Reloaded adds the winter edition of Dizzy, you know the platform game, namely Winter Nightmare. Of course he's got to find all the presents.
Computer Emuzone continues to add strange titles I haven't heard of before. One is UWOL - Quest for Money a platform-ish game where you have to collect coins.
Free Game Empire adds the classic RPGs of Elder Scrolls Arena and Daggerfall. Both super classics for fan of the genre, and really put Bethesda on the map as the finest company in the class.
We at The DOS Spirit have finished this year's Christmas Calendar. We topped it off grand style with classics as Street Fighter II (SNES), Contra III (SNES), Big Red Racing (DOS) and the incredible Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars (DOS, ScummVM)! Also a BIG thanks to everyone who helped out, this couldn't have happened otherwise.
The Good Old Days adds the perfect title for the season Xmas Lemmings from 1993 (btw, it was called Holiday Lemmings then, FYI). Of other updates there are screens for NHL Hockey and True Lies, WWF Raw, Zombies Ate My Neighbour and a new review on Comanche.
That's the last update I'm doing - this year. So from everyone here at The Abandonware Ring:
Happy Retro Year!

Christmas time! Hectic as hell, so I'll be quick:
Abandonware DOS - Added WinFrotz and HTML tads, apparently old Win 3.11 and DOS applications.
Emuzone - Adds Excalibur from 1985.
We at The DOS Spirit has launched our annual Christmas Calendar for the 7th year in a row! Calendar Day 1 is Future Wars: Adventures in Time from 1990.
The Game Archives is pack with a punch and adds no more than freaking 5000 files for the Commondore 16 Z. Apparently they've added everything there was for that system, so now he needs to find another system! You crazy, crazy man!
The Good Old Days adds a game that's pretty close to a game called Soul Crystal, namely the game Hexuma.
Erde Kaiser is ready to report from The House of Games. His latest addition there is the adventure game called Manhunter: New York. It's a first person point and click adventure, one of the first from Sierra. The world has been taken over by aliens and you are a manhunter looking for humans that have broken the law. Also mad props for testing the different versions Kaiser, that must be really time consuming!
Until next time, have a nice Christmas and stay retro!

It's nearing the end of the weekend, but here are something for your coming weekdays:
J-Who over at AbandonGames announced that he's added multiple games for Classic Trash. Now, looking at -that- site we find that what's added are Rogue, Indoor Soccer and Island Wars as the most recent ones.
We at The DOS Spirit added Gunsmoke for the NES. Shoot in any direction in this top-down shoot 'em all game. I'd also like to add that we're nearing our annual Christmas Calendar, which would be the 7th year in a row. That's one review every day from 1st to 25th of December.
Mr. Creosote and the band over at The Good Old Days have added Super Castlevania IV for the SNES along with documents for Heimdall 2 and History Line. Now Castlevania is always good stuff, and this for the SNES is not one to overlook, go get it! In a bit older news they've just recently hit 1000 entries in their floppy collection. Nice work!
Until next time, stay retro
