Whooyaa on schedule for the first time in weeks!!

Ok, first off, we have applicants. To all applicants: please be patient, you'll be properly reviewed in a couple of days. Except you Burger, because it seems you applied with an invalid URL, so it's useless for you to wait, I won't be able to review your application. Please review your address and reapply.

On the updates side, I'd like to highlight The Game Archives, they kindly broke our updating tool by putting up too many thousands of games out there for download. Their listing currently says they got 9998 games available on site, but they seem to have much more.

Woo, almost end of the week. Let's celebrate the start of a new one with a mind boggling 10 updates for you to enjoy!

To scoop through a few of them:

Abandonia adds this update with Shufflepuck Cafê, and can best be described as "air-hockey against aliens", according to Reup over at abandonia.

Long time since we last heard from Noodan, but they surely fire a punch with their update. It's Mario Breakout, a kind of breakout game where you have to hit Mario to progress each level.

The handsome guys over at Reloaded seems to have added 2 new games since I last visited them, more exact "The Ultimate Chuchu": a game where the aliens have invaded Earth and only a little purple/pink haired girl stand against them and "Dragon Ninja Saga": a ninja-styled kind of game where you play Red Lotus and have rid the land of some evil demon.

Lastly, Ancient Abandonware added Lemmings, an alltime favourite for all retro people!

Oh, and for those upcoming reviews we promised on the DOS Spirit, they're underway. Have a nice end of this week/start of a new one!

As I'm sure you all noticed, we got a brand new updater 'round 'ere. He's been tireless in our forums, specially in the unforgiving work of deleting spam and keeping the environment free of these stupid bots. Now he's doing maintenance and newsposts on the main site as well, so this is the best news this month, all welcome Bakkelun the retro-viking!

Bakkelun's timing couldn't be better. I got buried in work here, so he took care of things for around a week while I disappeared. I'm still buried in work, but alive again it seems. I'll try to respect our schedule from now on. :)

Today I refused one application because the site was not related to abandonware. One other applicant is still sitting there because I could not review his site (was offline tonight), I'll take another look at it tomorrow. And the moment you were all waiting, WE HAVE A NEW MEMBER!! Yeah! All welcome The game archives! TGA is your usual quick-and-dirty list of links to files with no review or pictures to look at, only they have thousands of games in their database, specially very old roms (Commodore, Atari, MSX etc).

In other news I've been refusing updates from a certain site for some time now... they always send in an update notice but show no changes in their site... lest I make a sad misjudgment, and since I can't really read the site properly, I'm not saying their name, but I hope their webmaster either make their changes more obvious or stop trying to exploit our update tool here. If you think I don't review the sites, you're wrong. I know there's a chance you're actually making minor changes to your site, but if we can't spot a change, it's not really important enough to be featured on our home page.
