Legacy News #1297

Hello, campers!

Sorry about the missed update Monday. Figured I'd leave it until Tuesday morning since I was falling asleep at the keyboard after the worst instance run EVER (Blackfathom Deeps, one feral spec druid as healer, two hunters who both insisted on pulling, one other druid who threw a fit and left and my aggro-magnet mage), but Swizzle beat me to the punch. Damn him and his alternate timezone. But I win today - hah! Cutting into Lone Lee's update time like a... uhh... cutter......

Legacy News #1296

It's been pouring rain here all day today - and is going to continue all night long. Which is great news for gamers as we have an excuse not to go nywhere and just play our games, yay!

And what games should you play you ask - well Demu has almost the entire Atari Jaguar library available (should be the entire collection by the end of the night).

I mentioned the Capcom Classics game the other day, and I just had a chance to play it. My first impressions of it are very good. I like the menus and setup of it more than the "collection" re-releases done by other companies. It feels smoother, and better designed. The game follows what others have done and includes a lot of bonus content on the disc. A lot of the bonus content needs to be unlocked by getting to certain points in the games - which is something I always enjoy - a reward! I only wish the game includes some of the other NES Capcom games (such as the Chip & Dale series), however, that is most likely not possible due to licensing with Disney...

Legacy News #1295

Where did everyone go? I just woke up and thought I would read the AR news - because Lone Lee and LD always have very interesting stories. However, it appears that no one came Sunday or Monday to process the updates. Looks like I will need to start the disciplinary process on them - no playing video games for 1 week!

I observed the other day that Civilization IV (pre-sell) is the #1 selling video game item on Amazon.com. I've been out of the current video game news for a long time now so I had no idea that a new Civilization game was close to release, let a lone in development at all. I must say the suprise of this game has me more excited than I've been for years about a game. Civilization games are always gold.

(All updates show the updated date as 10-4, as I am processing this update at 12:47 AM)
