It occurred to me, the acronym CGA - for Classic Gaming Archive - also stands for Colour Graphics Adapter, a computer display standard on the PC back in the early 80s.
"CGA could display 8025 or 4025 character text in 16 colours, 640200 pixels bitmap graphics in 2 colours or 320200 in 4 colours, consisting of two palletes: either cyan, magenta, black, and white or green, red, yellow, and black" - from Wikipedia
I'm not sure if they've got anything quite that old, but still an interesting...
The big new item today is: Diskworld and Classic Games have shut their doors, with the guys behind those sites joining forces to bring us a new project: Classic Gaming Archive. Of course, seeing as Diskboy is a part of the team I'm sort of contractually obliged to say how great this site is.
