Today's update comes in the morning instead of in the evening since I don't think I'll be here tonight -- got a *lot* of work to do.
AbandonGames added 32 new games to their database. Looks like J-who's actually back in business. :) Keep it up man.
Abandoneer added Empire soccer 94. It's a soccer game, if I'm not mistaken.
Abandonia Reloaded added Ben Jordan 1. I see they're cathing up with Abandonia in terms of regular updates -- you might expect them to become one of the major sites...
Look at all of those yummy updates for you today! It would have been 10, but I wasn't able to get new entries into Demu like I had planned. But I'm sure the other sites have added some great goodies.
This has to be a short visit today, as I'm sure both LD and Lone Lee are looking for me. They sent in their "crew page" details back when they decided to be part of AR, and I still haven't got them in there.
My designer has not been online in a long time so updating the look of the Demu forum is probably going to need to be done "in-house." If I'm able to get some free time tomorrow I'm going to be looking into that, as I think a forum where we could all talk back and forth would be great. Unforunately, I am packed with work for the rest of the summer - and no doubt when school starts again in two weeks I will be even busier. I have a senior thesis to finish, and the fun 400 level classes like criminal law and criminal procedure.
Wowzers - a total of 10 updates so far for you today. When I didn't have DVD's full of abandonware and was browsing the internet for games to add into my collection I was lucky to have 2 sites updating. Not to mention I was downloading the games at 4 kb's a second on unstable accounts - not this 500 kb dedicated server stuff your treated to today.
I've long imagined trying to make an "enviro ment" similiar to Prodigy (imagine AOL/Compuserve etc.) on the internet. Using a Java application or something it would be possible - right? Even an interactive BB over the internet using an application would be really cool. Someday...
