Legacy News #1245

I've been working on closing my old business over the last few days and opening my new business. I would say I'm over 90% completed now...

I would like to welcome LD, and Lone Lee, to the Abandonware Ring team. LD is goin to be doing updates on Monday, and Wednesday. Lone Lee will be doing updates on Thursday, and Sunday. And I will continue doing them on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. I think... heh. I really apprecitate the help and this is going to give LD and Lone Lee a big say in what the Abandonware Ring does in the future.

We have a giant list of updates today that have come in over the last two days. Way too many new things for me to list in this news post. So enjoy exploring them.

Legacy News #1244

We have a new site today - NsN does Abandon which offers some really good adventure and strategy games. This stie will also bring us up to the 80 mark. Could we be going back to the ~100 site count over the next few months? I hope so.

We also have a bunch of updates today from several dedicated webmasters. You guys are really lucky to have so many people working in the scene right now. It wasn't that long ago that daily updates had pretty much ceased.

I am talking to two people right now who are going to be putting in some time here at AR to bring you daily updates. Soon you won't have to listen to me ramble on about everything for 7 days in a row... only 3. I will be announcing the two people and the update schedule as soon as we work it out.

Legacy News #1243

A bunch of updates today. I didn't get to post the ones that updated last night, last night, so that explains the unusually high number. Due to the massive amount of new content from all the sites I will not be posting whats updated here - you will need to check each one out for yourself.

I've been able to get myself away from WoW lately to get some work done. I've been really busy with my video game business because I'm changing a lot of the merchandise I carry, and the legal entity of the business (which means new IDs, accounts, tax forms, etc.). It's a real pain, but it should be completed by next weekend and everything will be much more streamlined (and stress free!) than before. I did manage to take a break and squeeze in some Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike on the Xbox. The game is great, and definately worth a try if your into that sort of thing.

Demu has now had roughly 300 of it's 2000 games downloaded at least 1 time. I would like to tell you the total # of downloads so far, but I haven't added it up. I would estimate that the number is around 1,000. Pretty good in my opinion.
