For some people it was a shock, but I can tell you CGA will stay online for some time, the big difference is that I won't work on it anymore... for the coming three months, so don't cry! I'll be back in February next year.
Well what do we have this time?, three updates, first of all Flaskback Abandonware they have a new application for Windows 3.x available, the next p i m p site is Abandonia, they have three new games for you! and last but not least we've Abandongames, J-Who added about 100 games to AG's database.
A bit of bad news for the scene - Res over at CGA has decided to cease updating. The site will remain up as long as the ads continute to cover hosting costs, but ino further content will be added. So, another brave project shut down. It was pretty ambitious, and they never got around to coding some of the features planned.
Seems like Abandonware has been in a slump for a while now... events like this can't help. Still, thanks to the CGA crew for the work they did; it was fun while it lasted!
Onto tonight's updates. XTC bring us a grande olde racing title, while Abandonia have four more oldies including Gauntlet. Abandongam s have a load more games on their search list and Abandonware Oldware have added four games too.
Quite a lot to get through today. We have one new member: Abandonware Oldware which is a french site. Despite the title, all their content seems to qualify as Abandonware and not oldwarez, so welcome aboard!
Onto the updates: Abandonware Long Polish Name have added some number of games. I'm never entirely sure what's going on at that place, but looks good anyway. Computer Emuzone meanwhile have some news on various projects, and have uploaded a speccy emulator too. So go relive those nostalgic but insanely difficult Jet Set Willy moments.
Lostgames bring us 17 more games and a few apps too I think, while RIP games are working on their Atari-console section. J-who over at Abandongames has added 19ish games to his list, and finally Abandacatabra have one extra game for us.
