Well it looks like everyone decided to update one day early to skip town! Only two updates so far today, but I'm fairly confident some more will come rolling in later tonight so be sure to check back.
The updated sites are The House of Games which has added Winter games. Noodan Free Games has added Wodan.
I haven't played (w-o-w) in a long time now since I've been spending so much time working on Demu. Everytime we are one step away from opening a bug or other issue pops up that brings us two steps back... I want to get Battlefield 2 before summer ends, but I really don't know if I will have the time. Starting next week I have a ton of work that I need to get fnished before the end of summer.
Update: We now also have updates from Abandonia which has added The Beverly Hillbillies, and DOSgames Online which has added 9 new games. I will be updating a lot of the content around here later tonight again. It's been getting old lately because I forgot the ftp password and was waiting for the root holder to change it for me. Luckily Grades was able to remember what it was so I can finally get in there to update the files again. Yay!
Hello there!
Just a quick news post from me to tell everyone about the new re-launch of Da Fast Lane - a community based site which is developed for 'sceners' and newcomers alike. Not only does it pump out news but also fact, archives and lots more.
Da Fast Lane will be working in close contact with Abandonware Ring and other sources to bring you all you need and more. Go and check it out and even sign up!! Thanks.
Wow, usually we see a rush on Friday and Saturday of sites updating. But it looks like everyone pulled together to bring us there one day earlier. In total we have seven updated sites bringing you fresh new content today. Because of this I won't be listing them individually, you will just have to explore them on your own.
I have observed a steady increase in the incoming traffic to AR over the last month. We are really getting more visitors here than we have a long time, and this is a really good sign. Our membership count has also been rising so I'm glad to say we've been attracting some dedicated individuals who want to give back to the community. If you have thought about starting an abandonware website, but need some help with any of the parts, feel free to send us an e-mail and we can see what we can do.
