Legacy News #1645

to quote Britney Spears: Oops, I did it again...
Forgot to reset the previous updates. Well I guess the ones who didn't update are lucky today. But, tomorrow on Friday the 13th they will be reset, I tell ya!! Muahahahha.

Anyhoo, also a lot of real updates in the list (the ones ending on 07/12/07).
Specials go to Chris' Acepage which updated here for the first time (isn't it?)

I'd say, check out the rest of the updates too. Hope to see more next day.
It would be great if tomorrows updates have anything to do with friday the 13th.

Legacy News #1643

Let me swing a club at your hip bones!

My last update before vacation, sweet Italy awaits my arrival! Any Italian nostalgic retro fans who're going to or live in Rome, feel free to serve me free beer.

Anyhoe, the updates in this push are as follows:

  • A force for good adds a review for Judgement Rites, another installment in the famous Star Trek series. Adventure fans and trekkies alike should rejoice.

  • Kosta and his band of digital ink lovers over at Abandonia gives us Might and Magic III - Isles of Terra. A solid roleplaying game from 1991. Ah, the days where New World Computing ruled the world..

  • Abandonware Utopia adds the sequel to Ecstatica, Ecstatica 2 to be more spesific. A survival horror type of game, like Alone in the Dark, where you control a lone adventurer who suddenly finds himself on a quest to save the world.

  • Liso and his Gobliiins Old Games never stops adding to the collection. This time around I believe he's giving us Halloween Harry: Alien Carnage, a sidescrolling action platformer, Center Court Tennis which is what the name implies, and something I believe is a pack of wallpapers.

  • Old games for You packs a punch with Arkanoid. Who hasn't played that gem ?

  • We at The DOS Spirit celebrates summer by giving you nothing less than Diablo ! While not being the direct DOS-game one would remember, it closely resembles the DOS days in a very attuned way. Grab the demo today!

  • XTC Abandonware adds Frontier: Elite 2 to this push, the sequel to Elite. This is a space simulator with enormous amount of, you guessed it, space to explore, fight and trade in.

That's a ton of goodies that should keep you pretty occupied during your vacation.

Until next time (which will be somewhere at the start of August), wish me a happy happy trip! Wine, cheese and pushing over unbalanced towers awaits!

PS: To find our when The DOS Spirit added what, see each review, the frontpage under latest review or our Update list for affiliates . That's not too hard Latis and Lone?

Up up and away! *Poff*
