Thnaks to all of you guys who have been clicking on our google ads lately. With your help this site is actually breaking even meaning I can save some money every month on the server fees.
I don't know why I'm always behind the curve. But I see Rockstar Games originally denied that the code was even theres - they claimed, which any tech person knew was a lie, that the modification code actually changed the source code - "creating" these scenes. Now it's been discovered that the sex min-game can be unlocked fairly easily on the PS2. I've never been a fan of the GTA games or the company Rockstar. Being in law enforcement I take their games as a personal insult, and highly believe no one under the age of eighteen should have access to them. I hope that the ESRB demands that the game be pulled and re-rated as "AO" (Why the "AO" even exists, and they don't just use "M" and enforce a 18 year old buying limit is another discussion).
Today we have updates from Abandonia which has added International Karate. Abandoneer has added Maxwell's Maniac. Abandoned Gamesroom has added the Hoyle's Book of Games series.
I don't know exactly how - but Google has decided to display adds for Galaxies websites. It turns out that you guys have no interest in them as the average click through rates drop when they are displayed from 2% to .05 %. Google has really come up with a nice ad system, but I really wish I could determine what ads display. Hopefully they will rotate out soon...
I decided to go out to eat last night, and the go to a movie. The movie part never happended though because my girlfriend and I received food posioning from the place. We both ordered medium-rare steaks, and received rare steakes instead. I guess I should have sent them back - but we were hungry and are now paying the price. Needless to say I will be sleeping all day at the very least.
Today we have updates so far from Abandonia which has added Bubble Ghost. DOSgames Online added four games. Abandoneer has added Ultima II: revenge of the enchantress. Finally, both Noodan Free Games and Abandoned Gamesroom added three games a piece.
I went out the other day to get the new Sid Meier's Pirates! Xbox game. For some reason I missed the PC release that came out approximately a year ago. For those of you who have not played it - I highly recommend the title. I personally don't really follow the missions, I just cruise around the sea capturing enemy vessels and all their loot. It's a great way to pass some time.
While I was picking it up at the store I also grabbed a copy of the old CSI game thinking - I love the show, the game will be great! It turns out that there was a reason they were practically giving it away - the game is awful. The "game" basically involves going into an environment and moving the mouse around until it turns green showing that you can interact with something. You then collect the evidence and turn it into the lab for processing - and they do most of the work for you. Based upon the evidence that you "found" you can then request warrants and bring people in for interogations. Some of the biggest problems I had with the game is that it was so linear. As a Criminal Justice major I look at the crime scene in the game and immediately start thinking about what I would do in that scene - but naturally the game won't let me dust for prints or look for other trace evidence in an area the designers didn't determine to put any.
