Wow, it got slow around here all of a sudden. Only three updates coming in today from the regulars.
I've been too busy with Demu lately to play much World of Warcraft. But as soon as I have the time I plan to get back into it, and into other games. One that I have been thinking about purchasing soon is Battlefield 2. However, after seeing all the news around here about the bug problems right now (especially with the latest patch release) I'm going to be holding off for at least a few weeks. This is yet another example of how the games of today do not get the quality assurance testing they need. (Yet, another good forum discussion that will have to wait for the forums to launch...)
It's been a busy day for me. I've taken a break from Worlds of Warcraft to add a few more systems to Demu for your, hopefully soon, enjoyment. I still have to a "sweep" through every single game entry before launch to double check everything which is going to be a large task.
We have a couple of updates coming in so far today, I will check back in a few hours to post any more that arrive.
One new site today called HolyFile. They have an old games section that looks very promising.
I received an e-mail some time ago from Abandonia stating that they added an old warez (status) search engine to their site. I apologize for not mentioning it earlier. Basically the search engine allows you to enter in the name of a game and it will tell you if it is still sold (and if so, where). It's really refreshing to see new features like this being developed again.
