So! Lots of updates. First of all, an important notice to all applicants: please take the time to read the rules of application carefully before applying. I just denied half a dozen applications simply because they didn't have the basics... a terrible shame. To all of you who applied in the last few days, except for the sole site I'll be welcoming below, please, meet the requirements, and you're welcome to reapply and be listed here with us! Thanks for your cooperation.

The only site that met the requirements was AbandonFreedom, welcome! There's little to be seen there as of yet, but I'm sure they'll add more content soon. By the way SoapBath, check your design on a higher resolution to see some bugs, no need to thank me. :)

Other than our brand new addition, Abandonia, Abandonia Reloaded, Bunny Abandonware, Dosspirit, Joe Games and Old School DOS made their way here to add more and more content to our ever growing community, yay! Till sunday y'all!

I saw a news post today that the Nintendo DS has reached 10 million units sold. I must say that I have been very impressed with my DS. I was expecting it to be a flop, with the two screens and stylus. But Nintendo has really pulled it off taking advantage of everything in a way I could have never imagined. I tried to find some stats to compare it to PSP sales, but it seems Sony will only say how many units they have shipped, not sold...

Nice big selection of sites updated over the long weekend, so the chances are pretty good that somewhere in there is something you'll enjoy. Hopefully now the holidays are over, things will once again start flowing along like normal. Well... as much as what passes for normal around here, anyway.

You never know, 2006 might even be the year that Swizzle goes through the applicant list. I'd do it myself but his keen eye is better suited to the task. I think he has an extra mutant sense dedicated to that sort of thing. I be more likely to just say 'meh' and accept everyone rather than make sure they all conform to the rules.
