Legacy News #1200

Wow, where did the time go? I started my summer class since my last update which has been eating up a lot of my time. I'm going to have to push my updates from the early morning back to the night. I am also experiencing problems with both my internet browser, and instant messaging application. All of my contacts have been lost, which is driving me crazy - and all of my bookmarks simply vanished. I've had on-going issues with my computer for some time... I really need to re-install Windows...

Legacy News #1199

It looks like just the regulars have updates today. Abandonia added Gateway 2 - Homeworld a sweet adventure game. The House of Games added Retrograde a simple shooter. Finally, Abandonline has added Bubble Bubble an action game.

Wired News has a new article today about legendary game designer Shigeru Miyamoto from Nintendo. It's a good article and I recommend checking it out while you donwload some games from the updated sites.

I had previously heard that Nintendo was looking at bringing their classic "back catalog" (NES/SNES/GB/GBC?) games back as a "download option" with the new Revolution system. Miyamoto states that it is possible to run every game (obviously we know that) but they will have to see which ones they want to offer. Hopefully this won't turn out like the Game Boy Advance e-card feature which had maybe ~10 classic NES games available for it.

After a lot of careful consideration and discussions with members I have decided to share a forum with my new website Demu. This means that a forum link will be back up as soon as Demu launches (which should be just a few days away).

Legacy News #1198

Today we have four updated site; two of them are standard updated sites - they always update. I won't mention them in this newspost because of that , just kidding. Abandonia has Triton for you, Classic Gaming Archive is back online, Mark Gunther . Com has two new games available and The House of Games has Might and Magic: book 1 up for download! Enough to keep you busy for at least a few seconds... eh minutes.
