Legacy News #1186

ABANDONWARE COMMUNITY UPDATE

I guess you all have noticed some prominent Abandonware sites are down at the moment...like DFL, EmulationRing and my site, AbandonWar. Well, its quite simple, the host, Creative-Eye, has gone under. I dont know what happened with the new owner(s) after Diskboy sold CE, but, it seems they have effectively fecked it all up. I have had some brief discussions with Diskboy, who is now on hiatus on a Turkey vacation, and he is clueless as Hanging, the new owner, has not responded. STAY TUNED

Legacy News #1184

The first group of updates for the day have been posted. Server performance should be improving around here shortly. Plix is currently looking at the server to figure out what has been causing the problems.

Update: The server problems should now be a thing of the past. Several issues were found and corrected which could have been causing performance issues.

I am looking for people willing to help me with a beta test of my new site Demu (for those of you who have not been around for years, Demu was/is a emulation focused website). If you would be interested in receiving a "sneak peak" account to use the site before everyone else please e-mail me. Anyone in the program is expected to participate in a special forum where we will keep a list of bugs and features to add/improve. The site is getting close to being done and I'm expecting to open up the beta within 2-3 weeks.

Legacy News #1182

We have three updated sites so far today, good to see that the AW scene is active again since the last few... weeks? I guess. Well first of all we have 'always updating' Abandonia with a new game called 'Bowling - King Pin Arcade Sports Bowling', so when you are in a sporty mood check it out!, then we have Abandonline with a game I used to play when a was a little child lets say the age of three maybe four but after all these years I still remember the game (thanks to the screenshots provided...

See ya later!

Update! I just approved a new site called Thrift Store Floppy Collection while the site is just a list of files in directories it does carry a lot of applications which no one else is offering. The game selection looks excellent also. Check them out.
