Birthday, hooraah!

Happy New Year everyone! I hope your celebration was a blast, literally! There's quite the lot of updates waiting here for you today.

A Force For Good does some good by adding reviews for Operation Stealth, a point 'n click adventure game where you control a bond-kind of character trying to discover what happened to a lost stealth fighter, and Sega Rally 2, a rally game which is actually quite good. That is, until you try Colin McRae DIRT! and Gran Turismo HD for the playstation 3 :D

Bunnzy Abandonware has moved to a new harem, Hexie's to be spesific. She also wishes everyone the best in the new year 2010. Uhm. 2008.

Gobliiins Old Games added EGA Walls, a arkanoid type of game and Brány Skeldalu, which is a freeware (slovakian) RPG game from 1998. More about this rather goodlooking game can be found here (slovak site though!). In english, this game is called The Gates of Skeldal and is a real classic in the Czech Republic. On the island of gods, Rovenland, it's said that there'll be released a great evil which will consume the world. You have to take control over 6 party members and prevent the disciples from opening a portal to the Zohar dimension.

Oldschool Computer packs a ton of new content for the new year! Huge credit for doing updates the 31st dec, and 1st and 2nd of January! Since everyone's drunk in that time, we wonder how they managed this feat. Anyhow, among the updates we find Super Spy Hunter, Super Turrican, Star Force and Bad Dudes, all for the NES console. Take a look at their site to enjoy all of their goodieness.

My man, The J Man, over at Just Games Retro, claims he's a lousy bastard because he hasn't updated for a month or so. However, to fend off against all complaints, they pack a punch with 2 new reviews, both for the PC. First is Shadow Warrior, a shuriken-kick-ass-fps game with Lung Wu and Charlie Chaplin which I've never heard of. Appearently you have to make movies by doing classic Charlie-moves that often are embarrassing and outright outrageous. Kicking old women in their hip-bone? I mean, come on! *WAH-TAH!*

We at The DOS Spirit bascially wished everyone a happy new year. Oh, and guess who's birthday it is today. Check the staff pages!

Well that's it for now, I'm off eating more cake, because the cake is not a lie! MM,, cake.
