Wow, a slow day for updates today. Be sure to check out all three of our updaters and thank them for their hard work.
Ah, it feels like old times right now. I've got a game of Maniac Mansion going, a case of coke, and a bunch of computer problems with my CD-ROM that I can't figure out.
But what really brings me back into the good old days is Zaboo's and Marhasen's recent group of websites. Their first website Abandonware Central turned out to have a stolen design from a popular gaming website in the Netherlands - which wasn't a "huge" deal for me. I simply, politely, asked Marhasen to change it, or informed him I couldn't list the site here. This turned out to be a mistake, because it landed me in a ~1 hour conversation about how the design was not stolen and it simply (in a 1 in 1,000,000,000,000 chance) came to look exactly like the other sites design.
That was not e ough, however, as the new website submitted to us today from Zaboo, Hardcore Abandonware (lol), has stolen Abandonia descriptions. Now they didn't take the whole description at least, he cut out 1-2 paragraphs from each, but didn't re-phrase them at all. A simple Google search turned up the matches word for word.
Nice and quick before I head off to bed, three sites have updated: Abandonia, DOSgames Online and Noodan Free Games. Go! Visit them! Devour their bandwidth like the hungry little trolls that you are!
And now that I've rested (barely), I'll comment on the Christmas games rush. Or what should have been the Christmas games rush, because this year I'm not seeing much worth getting. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and City of Villains came out earlier and I already have them. Mario Kart DS and Sonic...
