🕹️👾🕹️We're thinking to give away a Spectrum copy of the Code Masters classic "Treasure Island Dizzy", signed in person by Andrew Oliver -- as part of a tAR Gaming tournament...
The online browser-based gaming From Rcadia offers a tournament system and a catalogue of remixed classic games to play.
We have discussed creating a tournament where all our member sites can nominate 3 players. Either the webmaster or someone of their choice.
Everyone smashes the leaderboard in classic games similar to Pong, Frogger, Alleyway, etc for 1 week. Whichever team wins, their site gets featured on the homepage for a month, and their winning player gets the physical signed game in the post.
Rcadia is a Web3 based gaming platform. We understand that this may feel overhwhelming or that users may not want to create Wallets on the Blockchain - so as a stepping-stone, the Tournament would be Web2 and incorporated into the tAR website.
So the flow would be something along the lines of... User clicks "tAR Gaming" link. Browser-based (Unity WebGL) games load. User plays game, submits score, username stored in leaderboard, exits game. User continues browsing Marketplace, checking Msgs, etc. User decides to hit the leaderboard again, so clicks "tAR Gaming", choses another title, plays. Repeat process.
No need for a Crypto Wallet, or to signup anywhere else, all handled here, through your user account. Then, the option is there to explore what Rcadia have to offer if you've enjoyed the titles they have shared with us.
We will keep you's updated, capiche?
