Legacy News #1560
Burger Meister! Someone from Back to the Past! Back to the Past, anybody hear me!? Dude, please apply again, I messed up your application here...
my bad, accept my apologies, please apply again, I promise I'll be more careful next time.
(The problem was you guys applied twice with different URLs, one working and the other not, I deleted one and the other got deleted too by mistake because our system has this small bug -- it deals with names, not IDs. Likely to happen when beginners code PHP/MySQL
such is life.)
Wow, lots of updates, see?
XTC added russian rarity Magnetic crane.
Games Cemetery added uum... onetootreefor... a full 13 new games!
GOG added Barbarian II.
The Hare added a new game, but my favorite kind of content nowadays is this: they've added an exclusive interview with Missing designer Orchard-L. It's my favorite kind of content because no sites take the time to go after people that really matter and interview them, and THAT's what the scene should be about, REAL PEOPLE, PEOPLE that MATTER, talking about the games, not just download links. It's through dialogue that we'll make this scene move somewhere someday (if at all). Abandoneer's done a few interviews, DFL used to dig interviews on the net along with all kinds of news, Reloaded is probably the only site interested in consistently going after interviews all time.
Game Archives keeps adding countless new (actually veeery old) roms for very old systems.
Abandonia Reloaded added a Breath of fire remake (made with RPG Maker baby yeah!).
SubDot added Street Fighter 2 among other stuff. 3k, the video runs fine here! But what did you do to capture it man, videotaped your TV monitor? It gets shaky and blurry that way!! The video thingy on site is working good, now it's time to take the next step and get this kind of footage directly from your desktop with special software man... DOSBox already has that capability, all you should do now is get specific recording software to capture your movement on emulators too for example. Anyway, great idea, well done!
Abandonia added M.A.X., which seems to be a Dune 2 clone, and it's getting rave ratings from the reviewer and users alike.
Oww now back to bed, I got this back ache today...
