Legacy News #1577

Weekend at last! Can't stay for long, but a friend of mine gave me a link I wanted to share.

What am I talking about? Well, LittleBigPlanet for the PS3 of course! Even though opinions differ whether or not Sony's next heartchild will be a success, the games may not share that fate.

Now, there pretty far between I get interested in new games, and especially for consoles. New games come out all the time, and imo they're mostly crap.

Though, this one might actually be fun. Here's a quote:

"Sony today announced a rather unexpected and terrifyingly adorable new game, LittleBigPlanet. Officially labeled as a "community-based" game, LittleBigPlanet is essentially a physics-based platformer, though such a description fails miserably at capturing the sheer amount of scrambling, swinging and holding-on-for-dear-life going on in the gameplay footage. Developed by Ragdoll Kung-Fu masters, Media Molecule, the game encourages players to help each other over obstacles, interact with objects (often fruit-like in nature) and grab onto everything -- including each other.
"

The interesting thing is that you have to co-operate with others, usually complete strangers over the web, in order to finish the levels. Still not convinced? Well, the graphics are cartoon-ish, in a good way, with movement fluid that're pleasing to the eye. The soundtrack also seems to be quite enjoyable, judging by the promo-video.
