Not a lot of updates going up right now, so it's a good time to dig out some favorites to play. I've been playing around with the new Command & Conquer title, and have not been impressed. The formula was perfect in the first series, and in Red Alert. The developers at Electronic Arts seem to have understood this, as the game does incorporate a lot from those early titles. But, they've still added a lot of new "enhancements" and polished everything up so it's just another boring RTS game. It doesn't feel like Command & Conquer at all. I've played through most of the allied campaign and I'm ready to uninstall it and never look back. It's a shame developers/publishers always try to give a game shiny graphics and sound and then leave out the actual game portion.
