Legacy News #1759

New week, tons of new wicked updates. We at The DOS Spirit have broken the 100 reviews barrier, and thus achieving the goal we set for 2007. The goal for 2008 is to reach 200. Might be a bit optimistic, but we'll see. (Easy math tells me that with i.e 20 reviews a month, it'll take half a year approx to accomplish. Yeesh! )
I'd like to highlight Reloaded's update: They've packed a punch with Echoes, a game that's a tad like Asteroids. I tested it at work earlier today, and it's the perfect shooter with soothing graphics, enemies and weapon upgrades. It even got unlockable games and achievements! Highly recommended!
Gobliins Old Games added a game I fondly remember from my younger days (no, I'm not old), Brix! A game much like Fire & Ice for the NES where you have to combine block with symbols in order to proceed to the next level.
We at The DOS Spirit added Ultima Underworld 2: Labyrinth of Worlds for Calendar day 8 & 9, and Star Control for Calendar Day 10. If you're into roleplaying games, UW2 shouldn't be overlooked!
DOSMuseum "comes back from the update-graveyard" with plenty of shareware titles. Amongst them is Sobokan.
Oldschool Computer, a fine and thorough site to be sure, pleases visitors with a pleatora of new NES-games and one AMIGA-game. Among these we find Cobra Triangle (boat game that will drive you nuts), and Life Force.
Best Old Games added Advanced Netwars, which I've frankly never heard of. It looks like a hybrid between the old Tie Fighter and Nethack-game for some reason...
Take a look at the updates that interests you, I bet they're all worth your time.
