I've been trying to figure out the name of a game I played in the mid-to-late 90's for about 8 years now. Yesterday, completely by chance I stumbled upon it.

Remember netWAR? It was a fun multiplayer only shooter with an overhead view. This was back in the days of dialup, and the game never really caught on (the game charged a monthly fee which was unusual back then). It only lasted about two years before the company shut down the servers.

Now that I finally know the name, developer, and publisher, maybe I can get somewhere with bringing it back. You won't find more than a handfull of records of the game online (no MobyGames, Amazon, or Wikipedia pages!). I'm going to try contacting the developer and request whatever media they might have to build a shrine to this fun forgotten old game.
