There was one new update from the existing batch, The Good Old Days, so it was appended. But, it was important.



As Mr. Creosote talks in his newest update, Project Giana is a re-imagining of the cult classic Giana Sisters back in 1987. Giana Sisters has been ported and re-made on various platforms, and enjoys a constant cult following even today from around the world.

Project Giana is made from a band of merry men and women named Black Forest Games, a result after Spellbound went bankrupt some time back. As you well may know, Spellbound was founded by the same man that created the original Giana Sisters, Armin Gessert.

They're using crowd funding via Kickstarter to help realize the project. It already looks really, really fantastic and features some new twists to the old formula while sporting a completely new "Giana Sisters". There's even an upcoming demo, so be on the look-out! They even got Chris Hülsbeck onboard, the composer of the iconic music from the series. This is endlessly awesome! But, don't take my word for it, here have a video from their Kickstarter:



It's a project that anyone who loves innovative platformers should look into. It could use some additional support, and you should help out! They even offer various nice rewards upwards in the tiers.
