Legacy News #736

Is it just me or are you guys losing entire days at a time? This morning when I went to sleep around 2 AM I could have sworn it was the 11th, but it looks like it must have been the 12th. Oh well, I'm up early for a trip to Wells Fargo to set-up a business bank account. The process of which is not exactly a walk in the park. For a corporation account you need to bring in your Articles of Incorporation (signed by the secretary of state), corporate resolution (signed by your corporate secretary), officers in the company must sign the Tax Reporting Information/Account Agreement and Authorization form (whew), and Certificate of Authority. I'm basically shoving every piece of paper on my desk and then some in a large briefcase which I will then throw in the river and force my customers to pay in cash which I will keep in my Candy Land game box.

On top of the state and federal ID's that have been assigned to us for tax collection purposes and our drivers licenses we must provide two credit cards each (I guess these credit cards prove our identiy - I should bring some in from work that are stolen/lost and just throw the whole pile at the guy... heh, or slip in one, just one with ours and see what he says). I'm assuming they will waive the fact that we (and when I say "we" I mean the officers in the company) each have one credit card because we prefer to pay in cash - and not live on some magical fantasy land money system. Wells Fargo also wants information on a "current fixed monthly loan" that we have going. Except sadly for them we don't play that game. Everything I've ever purchased has been with delicious sacks of cash and I prefer to keep it that way.
