This update is being posted in the very early hours of the 27th. I spent the entire day sleeping because I didn't get any sleep the night before. I was just too excited to sleep, as yesterday I had to recertify for emergency response driving (i.e., lights & siren in a "code" response).
The course was approximately 3 miles long, with 120 cones setup in various ways for you to go around them (generally at a fast speed), gravel spread on parts of the road, many 180 degree turns. In fact you can see a picture of the course (with no cones though) here.
To pass the course you had to complete it between 3 minutes and 3 minutes and 30 seconds. So you couldn't go too fast, and at the same time you couldn't go too slow. If you hit a cone you had 10 seconds added to your time (with basically put you over the time limit), and if you had a tire go off the road you were automatically out.
A late update as I only got home now (23h40). And guess what: only five sites updated today, against an average of 8-10 updating every day last week.
Guys... do update on thursdays. It's one of the only two days you'll get *me* in charge, which is good, because.... well, you know.
On to the updates.
But before the updates: I see you guys are finally voting for Inca at the Abandoned GamesRoom poll. Nice job, you're two weeks too late.
Back to the updates. Five sites deserve honor...
I went to bed and woke up an hour later with the nagging feeling that I'd forgotten something. Then I remembered to check the Abandonware Ring. Then I remembered that it couldn't be that, because Swizzle updates on Tuesdays. Then I remembered that it was Wednesday. Wednesday is my day to update.
Oops.
I blame Lone Lee, of course. I'm sure he was using some kind of voodoo magic or whatever to keep me playing World of Warcraft until I crawled into bed, hoping that I'd go to sleep and miss...
