A healthy six updates for you tonight. I won't bother listing them since they're just above this newspost. And I won't tell you what they added because that would... ehh... ruin the surprise, or something. Yes, th t'll work. Go and be surprised at the additions. Stop staring at me with your accusing eyes! I'm not being lazy - I'm just doing spoiler-free updates!
Sidenote: this trailer makes me weep with joy. Look at the style! LOOK AT IT!
I'm leaving town in a few minutes, so I can't tell you all about the updates. But the one thing I NEED to tell you is that the closing phase of Da Awards is open! If you like our work here, go there and show your appreciation by voting for the Abandonware Ring and its devoted crew. I'll let you even vote for LD if you want.
, Classic Reviews, Da Fast Lane, Dosspirit, HolyFile and Joe Games. These are the titles of the sites that have updated. Know them. Love them. Maybe even visit them if you feel like it? Either way, I suggest you tweak your nipples in Da Fast Lane's direction and ogle the shiny video recordings that bakkelun has taken from DosBox and put into Flash.
(Note: Not a request. Go now.)
So by all accounts, Oblivi n is meant to be pretty good. That's pretty great, but I'm still not buying it. Morrowind bored me to tears too much to think about getting Oblivion until it's cheap and/or bundled with the inevitable expansion packs. Besides, I'm still busy with World of Warcraft. Patch 1.10 hits today, so hurrah for weather! Sucks that the AutoBuff addon is being disabled, though. Trying to remember to rebuff Thorns and Omen of Clarity is going to suck.
Another thing I'm busy with is Red Dwarf VIII on DVD. I didn't much like that series when it was shown on TV thanks to the removal of the studio audience, but the DVD makes up for that by being able to show the two- and three-part episodes back-to-back (with extra scenes!). And dear lord is it ever funny. They need to hurry the hell up and make that Red Dwarf movie that's been planned for years.
