Only two updates today. The first is Gamelibrary, which has added 203 new games. The second is of course Abandonia which has added BC Racers a very fun racing game. Right in line with Wacky Wheels which was a game I was stuck on for a long time back when it was "new."
I found an interesting/frustrating news article earlier this week regarding the Internet Archive being sued for content available on it's server (Slashdot article here). This is another great example of how bad our current copyright laws are. A non-profit organization has gone to immense work to catalog an ever-changing medium. And a company has decided to try to make some "easy money" off of it. I love the Internet Archive and spend a lot of time looking at old websites that have long ceased to exist. It will be a real shame if they have to cease cataloging, get permission from authors, or hold their records in "private" for ~75-95 years before they are released to the public.
I'm rushing to get my work done this evening to get in some World of Warcraft. It's been too long since I was able to invest a few hours into the game. I really love WoW more than the other MMORPG's that I played, namely Star Wars Galaxies. The environment seems much richer, and like a real world. In Galaxies all you would ever do is go to a computer, accept some missions (killing spiders, or theifs) and ride around a bike for 10 minutes to get to the location for a 2 minute fight that no...
Today is yet another day of update happy webmasters. I plan on going back to listing specific upda e information in the news (i.e., the site and what was updated/added), but it's very difficult with some sites adding 30+ games.
I was planning on seeing the new Fantastic 4 movie today, but too many other things got in the way. I'm not really a big fan of super heroes, but the movie caught my eye. Since there really isn't anything out in the movie theaters right now it's not like there is another choice...
