Hi, I very like this place, thanks for making me introduce time
Forum bots never cease to entertain, which is good when the moderator team is going through recent activities on a late sunday in a state that's far from sober. One reply was particularly funny, why not spread the botspam love:
The name's James. I hail from down south in Texas. I'm a big fan of the old Quest For Glory sieries for the PC but I have lots of console favorites too. I colect old NES games and periferials an will buy things especialy if I don't know what they are.
Even though old, it still pretty hilarious. "Yes, I collect everything I don't know what is!". Another user dedicated a whole thread on a how-to make a CD cover. I seriously have no idea what the bot-programmers are thinking.
Needless to say, the posts were hunted down and closed. Have you found any humourous "out of place" post or thread in the forum? Let us know! Spam can actually be fun.
Aside from that, there's even more fun to be had on this weekend's updates. Enjoy.
Until next time,
stay retro - and spam free...
Guys, I'm short on time, but I'd like to share a concern with you people.
There are no good cyberpunk roleplaying videogames in the world.
That's right. Ok, to be honest I know three GREAT cyberpunk RPGs: Deus Ex, Deus Ex: Invisible War, and Shadowrun (the Genesis one). Other than that, there simply ain't any others.
I love cyberpunk, I love RPGs, and I'd love to play more great cyberpunk RPGs. Know any old or new games I should note? E-mail me. Seriously. I'll post the best suggestions...
Bethesda is suing Interplay (do they even exist beyond a website at this point?) over their marketing/selling of the original Fallout games. It sounds like Bethesda will win, as their contract required Interplay to get their permission for advertising/marketing of the older Fallout games (which according to Bethesda Interplay did not do). If you don't have the original Fallout titles now would be the time to get them from a source like gog.com before they are gone (again)!
I feel sorry for...
